Did anyone else think Spring was long overdue this year? I sure did, but thankfully it has finally arrived! I never used to be a big fan of this time of year, because where I live, Spring = rain and to me, rain was nothing more than just a four letter word for "bad hair day". But in the last year or so, I've grown to love the rain and the ironic calmness that it brings & in turn, I've grown to really love Spring!
What I love most of all about this season, however, isn't the rainy Illinois weather, but the beautiful colors and shades that take over our wardrobes and makeup collections, especially with gorgeous pastel colors! I'm obsessed with anything and everything that is pastel colored: nail polish, shoes, clothes, accessories, you name it! But to really break the Winter blues, I've been trying to incorporate some bright pastels into my everyday makeup routine. Color can easily be very wearable and this is the perfect time to give it a try!
